NordStar Airlines is shifting to the winter schedule: new flights and a new concept of baggage transportation

NordStar Airlines is shifting to the winter schedule of flights. Traditionally, the period of autumn-winter air navigation will last from October 28, 2018 to March 30, 2019.

During the period of the autumn-winter navigation, the destination network of NordStar Airlines will as always include the most popular routes among passengers. Thus, flights from Norilsk will be performed to such destinations as St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Ufa, Abakan, Krasnodar, Rostov-on-Don, Yekaterinburg and Samara. Flights from Norilsk to Krasnoyarsk and back will be carried out on a daily basis, while return flights from Norilsk to Moscow will be performed up to 2 times a day.

NordStar Airlines flights will continue to be performed from the base airport "Krasnoyarsk". Some of the most popular destinations are flights from Krasnoyarsk to Moscow, Norilsk, Beijing, Bratsk, Ulan-Ude, Chita, Tomsk, Surgut, Kyzyl, as well as to northern cities and regional settlements of Krasnoyarsk Krai.

From November 3, 2018, a new route Krasnoyarsk - Omsk - Yekaterinburg will be added to the destination network, and will be carried out 2 times a week on Mondays and Saturdays using comfortable ATR 42-500 aircraft.

For passengers from Krasnoyarsk and Norilsk planning winter holidays, the NordStar Airlines will offer convenient connection flights to Sochi, Mineralnye Vody and Makhachkala through Domodedovo Airport.

An important innovation of the winter season will be a new concept of baggage transportation. From October 28, free baggage and carry-on baggage allowances will change. On all flights, the airline introduces a new principle of determining the baggage allowance based on not only weight, but also the number of baggage pieces. In accordance with the new rules, that will apply to all passengers and flights, the carry-on baggage allowance will increase twice - from October 28, it will be possible to take one piece of carry-on baggage weighing up to 10 kg. Economy Beneficial fares, for passengers traveling light, will be luggage-free. Economy Easy tariffs will include 1 piece of baggage weighing up to 23 kg. Business class passengers will be able to carry up to 2 pieces weighing up to 30 kg each, depending on the fare level. The new concept of baggage transportation will allow to unify the rules of baggage transportation, bringing them in line with generally accepted international standards and making them more convenient for passengers.

Baggage allowance for each fare is indicated in the itinerary receipt, as well as on the airline's website during the process of fare selecting and ticket issuance. Passengers are advised to check their baggage allowance in advance for already issued tickets.
